Esther was a lovely host. Welcomed us and gave clear instructions. The room and grounds are spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay despite the rain, which made the surrounding vegetation lush & green. A sight to behold! Loved that it’s in a private peaceful location, and yet, was a quick drive to town. In Ashland there are plenty of cute shops, restaurants and, of course, the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. This spot would also be a stunning place to stay for a wedding group. Would happily return for a visit in a heartbeat.

Staying here was truly incredible. It felt like being sucked into a movie. The room was beautiful and the property was stunning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

There is no place in Ashland like Chateau Herbe, in fact you'd probably have to go to France to find a chateau like it. Gorgeous, pristine acreage surrounding it, we will go back again!

What an absolutely stunning location. We felt like royalty staying at this chateau. Everything was visually gorgeous and pristinely clean. Esther was a superb hostess and communicator. I felt so welcome and cared for by all of her detailed instructions and suggestions. Not only will I be staying here again but have friends who are very interested in booking for future group retreats and events. Thrilled to have found this gem and highly recommend the stay. Spoil yourself and your loved ones and book during the holiday season. I just might do so myself! ☺️

Perfect location. Very large studio apartment. A little noisy with windows open from the highway. But with windows closed, can't hear a thing. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had such a nice stay at the Chateau Herbe! The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed walking the grounds each day we were there. It was a great place for us to stay with our toddler. Enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony and watching the sun set each evening was very relaxing. The library was really neat as well! Would definitely stay again.

A very nice play to stay. Nice shower, lovely king bed, beautiful grounds, and a unique French-style chateau with a library and other fine touches. Esther is a responsive host. We’d definitely stay there next time we’re in the area.

Chateau Herbe is a special place to stay. Clean and tidy room, use of the whole building. Hot tub and sauna, and located in the beautiful Oregon town of Ashland.

Peaceful place to stay. Beautiful grounds. Close to shops, food and theatre. The room was large with tall ceilings and decorated nicely. There was a coffee bar with a Keurig that was well stocked and was available anytime. Tea was available too. One note for Summer months: the a/c doesn’t quite keep up with the temperature. It was 93 degrees outside when we were there and it got a little uncomfortable in the room. However they do have a fan available that helped. We definitely recommend staying here!
